Why Select McKinney Little League?

Founded in 1997, the McKinney Little League Baseball, Inc. is part of North Texas District 8 National Charter.

McKinney is located twenty six miles north of Dallas, Texas and right off Highway 75. McKinney was directly in the path of the old "Chisolm Trail" and is Texas's oldest settlement city. With its excellent schools, world class golf courses, organized sports and recreational activities, easy commute to Dallas and its suburbs, McKinney is the place to be!

League size has ranged from 1000 to 1200 players of ages 5 through 16.

Administration is carried out by the Board of Directors. All Directors, Managers, and Coaches are all volunteers teaching the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and team work.

Why McKinney Little League (MLL)?

  • All coaches are required to attend Coaching Camp

  • All adults that come in to contact with children must pass a background check and carry a league issued ID card

  • All coaches are required to be certified in CPR

  • All coaches must take concussion training

  • Little League safety rules are some of the strictest in organized sports

  • MLL is required to have an ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program)

  • The Little League All-Star tournaments are second to none, and go to the International Level

  • MLL is non-profit; All adults are volunteers
