To the McKinney Little League Baseball Community,

Todays general meeting and elections were scheduled as a result of some challenges that the league received related to our charter and previous elections. McKinney Little League is happy to announce that, after a thorough review by the District Administrator and Little League’s Southwest Regional office, it has been determined that our charter is in tact and in good standing. Therefore, Monday night’s general meeting and elections have been cancelled.

For those of you that submitted nominations to join McKinney Little League’s board of directors, we thank you for your willingness to volunteer your time and effort to improve our league and to provide a better baseball-playing experience for the youth of McKinney and its surrounding towns.Per our charter, the general meeting and elections will be held in November.

Additional information regarding November’s meeting will be posted on the website in the fall – at least 10 days prior to the meeting.

Little League International has been advised that the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has provided official notice that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the Reebok Vector-TLS 33-inch model bat.

Effectively immediately and until notified otherwise, this bat (Reebok Vector-TLS 33-inch length) should be considered non-compliant and subject to Junior, Senior, and Big League Baseball Rules 1.10 and 6.06(d).

Effective immediately, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636, including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Little League program or activity.
